Upper Merion Township Montgomery County, PA NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Upper Merion Township, at their regular Business meeting on March 12, 2026 at 7:30 PM in the Upper Merion Township Municipal Building, 175 W. Valley Forge Rd, King of Prussia, PA, will hold a public hearing on and after will consider and take action on the following proposed ordinance summarized as follows: Upper Merion Township ORDINANCE NO. 2026- (summary) AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER MERION, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING CHAPTER 165, ZONING, TO REFORMAT AND RECODIFY THE PROVISIONS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD MIXED-USE DISTRICT (NMU); TO ADD A NEW CONDITIONAL USE PROCESS FOR MULTIFAMILY DWELLINGS, ROW HOUSE DWELLINGS; TO ADD DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SEMI-DETACHED SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES; TO AMEND PERMITTED USES; AND TO CLARIFY STANDARDS RELATED TO PURPOSE, PERMITTED USES, DIMENSIONAL REGULATIONS, DESIGN REQUIREMENTS, ACCESS, AND GENERAL PROVISIONS FOR THE NMU DISTRICT. Section 1. Amends Chapter 165, as follows: A. Section 165-112 B Use regulations, table NMU-, Permitted Uses, related to the uses in the NM-I District and conditional use criteria for multifamily, row house and single-family dwellings in the NM-1 District. B. Section 165-113 dimensional Standards, modifying the maximum building height to 40 feet. C. Section 165-115.1. A Vehicular Access Standards, amending the subsection to require fire marshal determination for additional driveway access. Section 2. Provides for a repealer clause Section 3. Provides for a revision date Section 4. Provides for a severability provision Section 5. Provides for an effective date. Section 6. Provides for a Failure to Enforce provision.
