UWCHLAN TOWNSHIP Chester County, Pennsylvania NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in person at the Township Building, located at 715 North Ship Road, Exton, PA 19341. The hearing may also be viewed via the streaming platform YouTube. Instructions for access and participation are located on the Uwchlan Township website https://www.uwchlan.com. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comment and public testimony regarding the proposed Ordinance entitled, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 265 OF THE CODE OF UWCHLAN TOWNSHIP TO ESTABLISH COMPREHENSIVE REGULATIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL USES INCLUDING WAREHOUSES AND DATA CENTERS In summary, the proposed Ordinance proposes to amend Chapter 265 of the Uwchlan Township Code of Ordinances to add a new Section 621 (§621.101 - §621.801) providing for Zoning District Applicability and Use Permissions, Dimensional and Design Standards, Performance Standards for Warehouses/Logistics Facilities, Performance Standards for Data Centers, Application and Review Procedures, and Nonconformities. The proposed Ordinance also proposes to amend Section 265-301.4 to add new definitions for “Data Center,” “Data Center Accessory Use,” “Expansion,” “Fulfillment Center,” “Height of Building,” “Industrial Use,” “Level of Service (LOS),” “Logistics Facility,” “Small Logistics Facility,” “Large Logistics Facility,” “High-Impact Logistics Facility,” “On-Site Power Generation,” “Outdoor Storage,” “Sensitive Receptor,” “Trip,” “Truck,” “Truck-Terminal,” and “Warehouse/Logistics Facility.” The proposed Ordinance also has provisions for Severability; Repealer; and an effective date five (5) days after approval and adoption. At the public meeting after the hearing, the Board of Supervisors may consider enactment of the proposed ordinance. The full text of the proposed Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Township Building, located at 715 North Ship Road, Exton, PA 19341, from Monday through Thursday during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by appointment with the Township Secretary.
