The East Norriton Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a Public Hearing at the East Norriton Township Municipal Building, 2501 Stanbridge Street, East Norriton, PA 19401 on June 9, 2026 commencing at 7:00 PM to consider the following Applications/Appeals for relief under the East Norriton Township Zoning Ordinance of 2008 as amended, Chapter 205 of the Code of the Township of East Norriton: Case #2026-01, 2937 Dekalb Pike – Application/Appeal of Isaac Homes, LLC for a property located in the RR – Retirement Residential Zoning District (Parcel Number 33-00-03367-00-2) for the following relief: A variance under Section 205-18 (A) to allow development to occur along a private street instead of a public street, and to allow a 24-foot wide cartway without curb. A variance under Section 205-102 (B) (1) (a) to allow a gravel access driveway. A variance under Section 205-105 (1) to allow less than the required 10% of parking areas be devoted to permanent green areas interspersed within the paved parking areas. A variance under Section 205-154 (A) to permit 12 dwelling units. A variance under Section 205-154 (D)(3) to permit a buffer area less than required 25-feet. A variance under Section 205-155 (E) to allow the proposed parking along Haines Road to be set back 12.87 feet from the right-of-way of Haines Road instead of the required 25 feet. A variance under Section 205-156 (E) to allow a permanent landscape buffer less than the minimum required 25 feet in width along the right-of-way of Haines Road, and to waive the required buffer plantings along Haines Road. Case #2026-04, 16 Hancock Ave – Application/Appeal of Young Jang for a property located in the BR –Residential Zoning District and IN – Institutional District (Parcel Number 33-00-02125-00-2) for the following relief: A variance under Section 205-28 to permit a non-residential use in a residential district. Case #2026-06, 2015 Potshop Road – Application/Appeal of John Baldassari for a property located in the AR – Residential Zoning District (Parcel Number 33-00-07147-00-2) for the following relief: A variance under Sections 205-128, 205-129, 205-130, and 205-131 to allow the resumption of use as a nursery. Alternatively, a variance under Section 205-24 to permit a landscaping business in a residential district.
