Skippack Township 4089 Heckler Road Skippack, PA 19474 Advertisement for Bids The Skippack Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for its Skippack Township FEMA HMGP Acquisition Project. Interested Contractors may examine or obtain a copy of the Contract Documents during normal working hours at the SKIPPACK Municipal Building, 4089 Heckler Road, Skippack, PA 19474. The fee for a printed copy of contract documents is $50.00. A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held in the municipal building at 4089 Heckler Road, Skippack, PA 19474 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:00am. The work will include the demolition and removal of existing homes, accessory structures, foundations, pads, slabs, walkways, driveway, and other site improvements at the following locations: 4926 Skippack Pike, 4938 Skippack Pike, 4948 Skippack Pike, 4952 Skippack Pike, and 66 Lakeside Drive Backfill of disturbed areas of the property to uniform grade with adjacent undisturbed area(s) with suitable clean fill material and minimum of six (6) inches of topsoil. Removal of non-native invasive plants. preservation of existing native trees and vegetation. Restoration of disturbed areas of the property with lawn ground cover. Sealed bids will be received by the Township Manager until 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in the Municipal Building at 4089 Heckler Road, Skippack, PA 19474. Bids will be opened on the same day, same location at approximately 10:05 am. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: Sealed Bid - Proposal for Skippack Township FEMA HMGP Acquisition Project. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, and 100% Payment Bond are included in the contract documents. Prevailing state wage rates and Public Works Employment Verification Act will apply on this project.
