SECTION 001113 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Reading School District is soliciting sealed bids for the 12th & Marion Elementary School Additions and Renovations (“Project”) located in the City of Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Sealed Bids for all contracts shall be delivered no later than 1:00 PM prevailing time on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, to The Reading School District Administration Building, 800 Washington Street, Reading, PA 19601, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference for ALL contracts will be held at 12th & Marion Elementary School, 1200 North 12th Street, Reading, PA 19604 at 2:00 PM prevailing time on Monday, February 16, 2026. Attendance by all Prime Contract Bidders is mandatory. Construction will be bid for the following Prime Contracts: Contract No. 1: General Construction Contract No. 2: HVAC Construction Contract No. 3: Electrical Construction Contract No. 4: Plumbing Construction The Project Architect is SCHRADERGROUP A Hord Coplan Macht Studio, 555 E North Lane, Suite 5100, Building D, Conshohocken, PA 19428, Phone: 215-482-7440. The Project Construction Manager is CHA, 1 East Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018, Phone: 610-865-3000. Contracts 1 through 4: To bid the Project, prospective bidders must obtain the Contract Documents in PDF format directly from CHA by contacting dei@chasolutions.com. Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of a non-refundable fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00). Checks or money orders shall be made payable to “CHA” and mailed to 1 E. Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Cash will not be accepted.
