PUBLIC NOTICE UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ORDINANCE NO. 2026-06 Notice is hereby given that at the regularly scheduled meeting held by Upper Darby Township Council on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., Upper Darby Township Council will hold a public hearing, and if appropriate, enact an ordinance, the title and summary which appear below: ORDINANCE NO. 2026-06 AN ORDINANCE OF UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP, DELAWARE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7241 WEST CHESTER PIKE, UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP, THROUGH THE EXERCISE OF EMINENT DOMAIN Ordinance 2026-06 authorizes the Township to select, appropriate, and condemn the Real Property located at 7241 West Chester Pike in Upper Darby Township through the exercise of eminent domain for general municipal purposes, including for the purpose of providing fire, medical and emergency services. Additionally, the Ordinance provides for a severability clause, a repealer clause and an effective date of the Ordinance, all as set forth more fully in the Ordinance. The public hearing will take place in the Township Meeting Room #202 of the Municipal Building, 100 Garrett Road, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. The meeting will be streamed to the public via YouTube live: https://www.youtube.com/upperdarbytwp. The meeting can be also viewed on Upper Darby Township Council’s Facebook page.
