PUBLIC NOTICE OF HEARING OF THE BOROUGH OF POTTSTOWN ZONING HEARING BOARD Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Pottstown will hold a hearing on October 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pottstown Borough Hall located at 100 East High Street, Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to hear the following matter(s): Application No. 13-2025 – Application of the Elan Shirman and Andrew Maye concerning the properties located at 504 and 512 Chestnut Street, Borough of Pottstown. These properties are located within the Traditional Town Neighborhood (“TTN”) Zoning District and shown as Tax Parcel Nos. 16-00-32024-00-9 and 16-00-05676-00-5, respectively. The property at 504 Chestnut Street consists of a lot having an area of approximately 12,000 s.f.; improved with 3 story vacant industrial/manufacturing and storage building with a gross floor area of 14,452 s.f. and a 6,000 s.f. paved parking area. The property at 512 Chestnut Street consists of a lot having an area of approximately 4,200 s.f.; improved with a 2 story vacant industrial/manufacturing and storage building with a gross floor area of 3,720 s.f. The Applicant requests variance relief from Chapter 27, Section(s) 601.4.A, 319,1, 309.1, 309.2, 312.2.A, 314.1.A, 609.1, and 1400 to allow demolition of the existing residential building and renovation of the existing industrial/manufacturing buildings and construction of a 4th floor addition for a development consisting of 24 apartment units and 36 off street parking spaces.
