PUBLIC NOTICE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON, NJ In accordance with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) regulations, the Township of Hamilton has developed a draft 2026 Annual Action Plan. There will be a 30-day public comment period from April 30, 2026 through May 30, 2026 during which the public is invited to provide written or verbal comments to: Hamilton Township, Department of Community and Economic Development, 2090 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08650, Attention: Teregjona Acosta or via email to tacosta@hamiltonnj.com or phone at (609)-890-3675. The draft plan will be posted on the Township’s website at the following address: https://www.hamiltonnj.com and a copy will be on display at Hamilton Township Neighborhood Preservation Program, 2090 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton NJ 08650. All comments must be received by May 30, 2026 at 4:00PM to be considered. Summary of the Annual Plan for Program Year 2026 The draft 2026 Annual Action Plan addresses and contains the Township’s housing and non-housing needs, objectives, proposed projects, and other required statements. For FY 2026, the Township expects to receive and allocate $613,522.00 in CDBG funding, as listed below. The Township proposes utilizing its CDBG funds for the following activities: Housing Rehabilitation Program and Housing Rehabilitation Administration$120,000.00 Municipal Infrastructure and/or Parks/Streets Project$278,789.30 Support Public Services$92,028.30 Planning and Administration$122,704.40 Total$613,522.00 Public Hearing A public hearing will be held on May 19, 2026 at 2:30pm in Council Chambers located at 2090 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton NJ 08609.
