PUBLIC NOTICE 443 S. GULPH ROAD UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP MONTGOMERY COUNTY Section 5 of Act 537 of January 24, 1966, P.L. 1535, known as the “Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act”, as amended, and Chapter 71.31 of Title 25 of the Pennsylvania Code of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Rules and Regulations, requires that this Public Notice be published as a service to the public. Notice is hereby given that the Property Owner, Universal Health Services, Inc. has recently prepared an Act 537 Sewage Facilities Planning Module for the property located at 443 S. Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania, hereby referred to as the 443 S. Gulph Road project. This project the decommissioning of two (2) existing septic systems and the addition of a grinder pump sewerage system that would pump the sewerage to an existing manhole in Gulph Road. The property is 443 S. Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township, PA. The parcel contains an office building with an associated parking lot and walkways. This project is proposed in response to the currently failing on-lot septic system serving this property. The Property Owner intends to install a grinder pump and Low Pressure Force Main to tie into the existing public sanitary sewer main along Gulph Road. The grinder pump station and sanitary sewer lateral will be paid for, owned, and maintained by the Property Owner. There are no fees associated with this project to be paid by other Property Owners in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County. Publication of this notice establishes a 30-day comment period beginning March 14, 2026. Copies of the Planning Module for the Universal Health Services, Inc., 443 Gulph Road project will be available for review at the Upper Merion Township office, (175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406).
