PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc., 3912 Brumbaugh Rd, New Enterprise, PA has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Mining and Reclamation, for renewal of an NPDES permit for Honey Brook Quarry (aka Valley Forge Stone) located at 199 Quarry Rd, Honey Brook, PA 19543 in Honey Brook Township, Chester County, and Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County. The receiving stream is an Unnamed Tributary to the West Branch of the Brandywine Creek. The site is located atop the Welsh Mountain ridge bounded by Fieldstone Road to the south, Welsh Road to the west, and Route 10 to the north and is shown on the Honey Brook and Morgantown, Pa., U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle maps. A copy of the application is on file for public review through March 9, 2026, at the Honey Brook Township office, 500 Suplee Road, Honey Brook, PA.
