PROPOSED ORDINANCE - ENACTMENT NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Birdsboro, at its regular meeting on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Borough Hall located at 202 East Main Street, Birdsboro, PA 19508, shall consider for adoption and enactment the following proposed ordinance: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF BIRDSBORO, BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING SUBSECTION 31 ENTITLED “PARKING OF TRUCKS, BUSES AND CERTAIN OTHER VEHICLES PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN LOCATIONS” OF CHAPTER 366 ENTITLED “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” OF THE BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES IN ORDER TO AMEND THE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PARKING OF LARGE TRUCKS, RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND OTHER LARGE MOTOR VEHICLES, WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE BOROUGH OF BIRDSBORO. Specifically, this Ordinance amends Ordinance No. 517 adopted April 21, 2025 by (1) changing the maximum amount of time that a recreational vehicle is permitted to be parked on a public roadway from 24 continuous hours to 72 continuous hours, and (2) creating a process for persons to seek prior approval from Borough Council to park a recreational vehicle on a public roadway for not more than a two (2) week period in the R-1 or R-2 Zoning District areas of the Borough only conditioned upon a showing that there will be no or minimal impact to the community.
