Notice is hereby given that Dyer Quarry Inc., 1275 Rock Hollow Rd Birdsboro, PA 19508 has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to modify their existing large non coal permit in Robeson Township, Berks County. The permit number is PA02241. This modification includes a 9.24 acre expansion to their existing Eastern Expansion permit bounday to be used for over burden storage and a modification of NPDES Permit Number PA0224715. The proposed new permit boundary will be 110.9 acres. The existing permit area is 101.2 acres and is situated between Cedar Hill Road and Rock Hollow Road. The receiving stream for this proposed permit area is Indian Corn Creek classified as CWF. The Forest Pa., U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map contains the area described. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Robeson Township Building, 8 Boonetown, Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 and at the following website. Written comments, objections, or a request for an informal conference and/or public hearing may be submitted to the DEP Pottsville District Mining Office, 5 Laurel, Blvd, Pottsville, PA 17901 , by August 14th (which is 30 days following the date of the last (i.e. 4th) publication of this notice) and must include the person’s name, address, phone number, and a brief statement as to the nature of the objection(s).
