NOTICE TO BIDDERS CHESTER UPLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF BID EXTENSION Sealed bids will be received electronically via the PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by the Chester Upland School District by September 12, 2025 until 4:00 PM prevailing time which is an extension from the original deadline of August 7, 2025 until 4:00 PM prevailing time, for the following bid. District Wide Security and Surveillance Initiative – Scope includes District Wide Security Camera Upgrades at all schools to include all head end equipment, camera layout, access controls and wiring. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. There is no physical public bid opening for this project, bids will be revealed via the PennBid website. The Successful Bidder Who Is Awarded The Contract, Will Be Required To Pay “PennBid” A Fee Of 0.0033% (1/3 of 1 percent) up to $5,000 Of The Contract Award Value. All interested parties must submit questions via PennBid website (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/login) by the posted deadline.
