NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors will accept sealed proposals until 9:30 A.M. prevailing time Tuesday, April 28, 2026 for Public Works Project #26-01 consisting of approximately 9,000 sq. yds. (+/-) Cold in place recycled base course, 27 (+ -) tons of Portland Cement, and 23,450 sq. yds. (+/-) of mill/sweep and tack, 1,940 (+/-) tons of 9.5mm wearing course, 30,872 sq. yds. (+ -) of mill /sweep . All work shall be in accordance with PennDOT 408 Specifications and Limerick Township General Provisions and Technical Specifications. All proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Limerick Township Administration Bldg., 646 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA. All proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Township. Proposal forms, Specifications and contract documents may be obtained at the Limerick Township Administration Bldg. Mon. thru Thurs., between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. and Fridays between 7:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M., by download at www.LimerickPA.org or by email request to MMancini@LimerickPA.org. The PA minimum prevailing wage rates, as determined by the PA Department of Labor & Industry, shall apply to this contract. All sealed proposals shall be submitted with a ten percent (10%) bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. It is the intent to award this project as a single contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. All Cold milling /sweeping shall be complete in place not later than July 03, 2026. Cold In Place recycle shall be completed by September 4, 2026. All hot bituminous wearing courses shall be complete in place not later than September 11, 2026. The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof as they may deem necessary and in the best interest of Limerick Township.
