NOTICE TO BIDDERS PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all prospective bidders that Douglass Township will receive sealed bids for the following contract: County Line Road Bridge Replacement Project . Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time, on July 29, 2026 at which time they will be opened. All documents and solicitation details are available any time at PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by clicking on the “Solicitations” then “View” tabs. Project drawings and documents are available for inspection at Douglass Township Administration Building. COUNTY LINE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT This project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials, for the Design Build Bridge Replacement. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Douglass Township in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed, to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bid surety checks and bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after the awarding and signing of the Contract. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract; a Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract price, as well as a Certificate of Insurance. Project bids are to comply with PA Prevailing Wage requirements that are included in the bid documents. The Township reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, or take such action as it may deem in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law.
