NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE AND HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Cumru will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cumru Township Building, 1775 Welsh Road, Mohnton, PA 19540 for the purpose of accepting public comment with respect to an Ordinance amending the Township of Cumru Zoning Ordinance of 2009. Following the Hearing, the Board of Commissioners of the Township will consider enactment of the Ordinance at its regularly scheduled meeting. If approved by the Board of Commissioners during such meeting, the official Zoning Ordinance of the Township would be amended, by an Ordinance summarized below, as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CUMRU, BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE CUMRU TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE OF 2009 TO ESTABLISH A DATA CENTER OVERLAY DISTRICT AND TO INCLUDE PROVISIONS SUPPLEMENTARY TO THE FOREGOING. Copies of the full text of the proposed Ordinance can be obtained at the municipal building, located at 1775 Welsh Road, Mohnton, PA 19540 during normal business hours for no charge. The Ordinance is also on file for inspection at the Berks County Law Library c/o Court Administration located in the Berks County Courthouse, Reading, Pennsylvania.
