NOTICE OF BID Township of Lawrence County of Mercer Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received and publicly opened and read at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building, Lower Conference Room, 2207 Lawrence Road, Lawrence Township NJ 08648 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on June 4, 2026, for the project known as Bid No. 26-05 “Eldridge Park Pedestrian Improvements”. The bid shall provide for installation of 1175 SY of permeable interlocking concrete pavers, curb (192 LF), driveway apron (75 SY), 170 LF split rail fence, vegetative stabilization and other miscellaneous items as set forth in the specifications. It is anticipated that a construction contract will be awarded on June 16, 2026, subject to the availability of funds in the 2026 Adopted Budget and 2026 Capital Plan. Construction shall commence on or about July 6, 2026. The completion of the project shall be forty-five (45) working days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed by September 4, 2026. Signed bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Engineering Department with the name of the project printed on the face of the envelope. Bids must be made on the proposal forms included with the bid specifications. Bidders must comply with the regulations of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 - 1 et seq.
