NOTICE Notice is hereby given that, on or about February 5, 2025, L&S Demo Recycling, Inc. (L&S Demo) will submit an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) to renew existing Solid Waste Permit No. 101639 for its Transfer Station and Material Recovery Facility located at 884 Brook Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428 (Facility). The modification application is being filed in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipal Waste Management Rules and Regulations, Title 25, Chapters 271 and 279. This application proposes renew the permit to allow continuance of existing operation. The Facility is permitted to process up to 1,000 tons per day of construction and demolition waste, and no change in this capacity is proposed at this time. Under its existing permit, the Facility is authorized to accept waste generated from construction and demolition activities, as well as limited quantities of other approved wastes. No hazardous or unapproved waste will be accepted. The Facility is permitted to accept waste from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Processing and transfer operations take place 24 hours per day, six days per week. The facility is closed Sundays and designated holidays. Persons desiring additional information concerning this permit application should contact the applicant at the address indicated above. Copies of the application are available for review and copying at the PA DEP offices at 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Fees for copying may be charged by PA DEP. Copies of the application will also be sent to Plymouth Township, 700 Belvoir Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, and Montgomery County, PO Box 311, Norristown, PA 19404-0311. Pursuant to PA DEP regulations, the host municipality and county may submit recommendations for permit conditions, revisions, approval or disapproval and other comments to PA DEP within 60 days of PA DEP’s receipt of the application. PA DEP will also accept and consider comments from the public during the application review period.
