NOTICE IS GIVEN that the West Nantmeal Township Board of Supervisors will conduct a public meeting and hearing on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 7 p.m., prevailing time, at the West Nantmeal Township Building, 455 N. Manor Road Elverson, PA 19520, to consider, and immediately thereafter during its regular public meeting decide whether to enact the following Ordinances: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST NANTMEAL, CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE WEST NANTMEAL TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED, AT CHAPTER 215, “ZONING”, BY AMENDING SECTION 215-7 TO ADD ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS; BY AMENDING SECTION 215-17 TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGIONAL ANAEROBIC DIGESTER USE; BY THE ADDITION OF NEW SECTION 215-123.1 TO PROVIDE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ACCESSORY ANAEROBIC DIGESTER USE; BY THE ADDITION OF NEW SECTION 215-123.2 TO PROVIDE REQUIREMENTS FOR A REGIONAL ANAEROBIC DIGESTER USE; AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS CONTAINED HEREIN. Section 1 amends Section 215-7, titled “Definitions”, to add definitions for “Accessory Anaerobic Digester”, “Anaerobic Digestion”, “Biogas”, “Digestate”, “Gas Compression Station”, and “Regional Anaerobic Digester”. Section 2 amends Section 215-17.C to add a new subsection (9) to provide for the Regional Anaerobic Digester use. Section 3 adds a new Section 215-123.1, titled “Accessory anerobic digesters”, which provides for the requirements and provisions of accessory anerobic digester uses. Section 4 adds a new Section 215-123.2, titled “Regional anaerobic digesters”, which provides for the requirements and provisions of regional anaerobic digester uses. Section 5 provides for severability. Section 6 provides for repealer. Section 7 authorizes General Codes to make necessary non-substantive changes. Section 8 provides for the effective date. A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Township Building during normal business hours.
