NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to be held on Thursday April 9, 2026, at the Township Building, 616 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444, at 6:30 PM, the Board of Supervisors will consider, and if appropriate, enact, an ordinance, the title and a summary of which are as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA REGULATING FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS IN STRUCTURED PARKING FACILITIES; REPEALING ALL INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE If enacted, the ordinance will amend the Whitemarsh Township Code of Ordinances to adopt requirements for electric vehicle charging stations located within an enclosed parking area to best protect against the hazards of fire and protect the public health, safety, and welfare. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection and copying at the Whitemarsh Township Building, 616 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444, the offices of this newspaper, and the Montgomery County Law Library all during regular business hours.
