LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Royersford Borough Council invites qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the COLLECTION, TRANSPORTATION, AND PROCESSING OF TRASH AND RECYCLABLES, in accordance with the printed specifications, for the Royersford Borough, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Royersford Borough seeks to award a two-year (2027-2028), three-year (2027-2029), or four-year (2027-2030) contract at its discretion. Bid packages, including details, conditions, specifications and bid forms, may be secured from the Borough Manager, Donna Ziegler, at Borough Hall, located at 300 Main Street, Royersford, PA 19468 (610-948-3737/ dziegler@royersfordborough.org). Bids must be timely submitted to the Borough Manager on the forms provided in the bid package and sealed in an envelope identified with the bidder’s name and address and clearly marked, “BID FOR TRASH AND RECYCLABLES COLLECTION,” prior to 10:00 A.M. on August 10, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder or a bid bond in the amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid price. The bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on August 10, 2026 at approximately 10:30 A.M. at Borough Hall. Borough Council will then initially review the bids during its public meeting previously advertised for August 11, 2026, which begins at 7:15 P.M., and may act upon them at that time or at a subsequent advertised public meeting in accordance with the law.
