LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Maidencreek Township Board of Supervisors, Berks County, Pennsylvania, at its regular meeting to be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Township Building, 1 Quarry Road, Blandon, Pennsylvania 19510, will consider the adoption of the following proposed Ordinance, which is summarized as follows: An Ordinance to add a new Chapter 10, Environmental Advisory Council, to the Township Code of Ordinances which: (1) creates a Maidencreek Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC); (2) establishes the composition and organization of the EAC; (3) provides for a Board of Supervisor liaison; and (4) provides the purpose, powers and duties of the EAC, and contains provisions for conflicts, severability, repealer, and effective date. Copies of the complete text of the Ordinance are available at the Township Building, 1 Quarry Road, Blandon, Pennsylvania 19510, and may be examined Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30 PM (excepting holidays), or at the offices of this newspaper. All interested persons and parties are invited to attend the meeting and offer any public comment prior to the Board of Supervisors taking any official action on the adoption of the proposed Ordinance.
