INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Community College will accept sealed bids online for Vulcan Endurance™ Model 48C-8B Gas Restaurant Ranges (Bid#3, FY27). Bids must be submitted via PennBid, (pennbid.net) by 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) on August 25, 2026. A mandatory, pre-bid meeting will be held on August 12, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hospitality Institute, Montgomery County Community College Blue Bell Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA. Note: Failure to attend the mandatory walkthrough may be grounds for rejection of a bid. Bids must be submitted on forms included in the bidding documents and must be accompanied by Bid Security, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Owner’s Certification of Responsible Contractor Status Form, and Contractor Resume and References Form in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall conform to all other requirements as more fully set forth in the bidding documents, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Law, approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442), as amended, and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to this Project which have been promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry. All proposals submitted are valid for acceptance by the Owner and may not be withdrawn for a period of at least sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless the award of contract is delayed by the required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds or award of grant or grants, in which case, proposals shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days in accordance with Section 3911 of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Procurement Code, 62 Pa. C.S. § 3911. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof or items therein and to waive informalities and/or technicalities, as it deems best to protect its interest.
