DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Borough of Collegeville will receive sealed bids online for the Collegeville Borough 2026 Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course Program. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until March 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The bids shall be opened soon thereafter. The general scope of work will be for the preparation for and placement of Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course on the following roads: • Derr Drive – 3,033 SY • Freeland Drive – 15,900 SY • Hunsicker Drive – 2,360 SY • Ruby Drive – 1,917 SY • Shelly Drive – 2,067 SY • Spangler Circle – 1,267 SY • Stine Drive – 6,850 SY All Bid Documents and solicitation details are available on March 9, 2026, at no cost at PennBid™ https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. This project is also subject to Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government’s E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond guaranteeing performance of the contract in the amount of 100% of the value of the contract. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Letters of credit will not be accepted. The Borough of Collegeville reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the bids.
