BOROUGH OF HOPEWELL NOTICE OF PLANNING BOARD HEARING TAKE NOTICE THAT Hopewell 57 Urban Renewal Entity LLC (“Applicant”) has submitted an application to the Borough of Hopewell Planning Board (“Planning Board”) with respect to property located at 57 Hamilton Avenue and 62 Somerset Street, also designated as Block 12, Lot 7 and Block 18, Lot 1 on the official tax map of the Borough of Hopewell, Mercer County (“Subject Property”), for preliminary and final major site plan approval for the construction of a redevelopment project consisting of a 4-story rental apartment building with 78 dwelling units, 42 stacked rental townhouse units grouped in 4 buildings, clubhouse and associated parking, driveways, sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, utilities, stormwater facilities, right-of-way improvements along the site frontage and other related improvements. Twenty-four (24) of the dwelling units in the apartment building will be affordable housing. In addition to the above-described preliminary and final major site plan approval, the Applicant will request any additional deviations, variances, waivers, exceptions, interpretations, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting nonconforming conditions and other approvals reflected on the filed plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) and/or relief that may be deemed necessary by the Planning Board during its review and processing of the application and/or based upon the analysis of the plans and testimony at the public hearing on the application. The Planning Board will continue the public hearing on the application during a meeting of the Planning Board which will be called to order at 7:00 P.M. on April 15, 2026 at the Hopewell Elementary School, 35 Princeton Avenue, Hopewell, New Jersey 08525. All applications and supporting documents for this application will be available to the public prior to the meeting at the Office of the Borough of Hopewell Planning Board, 88 East Broad Street, Hopewell, New Jersey 08525 during regular business hours. Any interested party may appear at the hearing and participate in accordance with the rules of the Planning Board.
