BOND ORDINANCE STATEMENTS AND SUMMARY PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Hamilton, in the County of Mercer, New Jersey on July 21, 2026, and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such bond ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies of the full bond ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Municipal Clerk’s office in the Municipal Building to the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such bond ordinance follows: 26-022: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON, IN THE COUNTY OF MERCER, NEW JERSEY, PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED EXPENSES IN AND FOR THE TOWNSHIP, APPROPRIATING $9,900,000 THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $9,405,000 IN GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE THE SAME. PURPOSES. I. Acquisition of Technology and Services, including but not limited to: (i) replacement of in-car computer systems for Police Department, (ii) Upgrade and replace Township’s dispatch console, and (iii) UAV Drone System, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Appropriated and Estimated Cost: $196,240 Estimated Maximum Amount of Bonds or Notes: $186,428 II. Improvements and repairs to Township Parks and recreational assets, including but not limited to: replace façade for special events trailer/stage and replacement of older playground equipment at various Township parks, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Appropriated and Estimated Cost: $95,500 Estimated Maximum Amount of Bonds or Notes: $90,725 III. Improvements and repairs to Township public buildings and facilities, including but not limited to: upgrades to Township fire houses and installation of security cameras in main court facility, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary thereof or incidental thereto. Acquisition of equipment and vehicles for Township departments, including but not limited to the following equipment (all name brand or equivalent): Storage shed (Recreation), 2025 Bundle Radar SpeedAlert 24 ATS-5 Trailer Variable Message Board (OEM), duty handguns (Police), vehicle radios (Police), handheld portable radios (Police), radio (Fire), boat motor (fire), fire hose replacement (Fire), turnout gear (Fire), SCBA Bottles (Fire), Bandit Intimidator wood chipper (Park Maintenance), 3 axle deck over trailer (Park Maintenance), three (3) General Light Tower ML T6SKDS-STD3, Elgin Pelican Street Sweeper (Streets and Roads), Caterpillar AP 1055 Asphalt Paver (Streets & Roads), Caterpillar Model CB10 Asphalt Compaction roller (Steets and Roads), Cradlepoint Modem (IT), storage shed for public works garage (Vehicle Maintenance), two (2) 20,000 LBs Floor Jacks (Vehicles and Maintenance), fuel pump island (Vehicles and Maintenance), two (2) Ford Explorer (UCC), Ford Explorer (Zoning), sixteen (16) Police Vehicles (12 marked/4 unmarked)(Police), Ford Escape (Environmental Health), Ford Explorer (Animal Control), Ford F150 with lift gate (Buildings and Grounds), Kenilworth T880 6x4 (Streets and Roads) and Ford T-150 Cargo Van (IT), and including customization and related equipment to allow the vehicles to be used for its intended use, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Engineering, Planning, Design and Reconstruction and repairs to Township roads, including but not limited to (1) the following Department of Public Works road projects: IRVING COURT from East Howell Street to Emanuel Street, COOLIDGE AVENUE from Hamilton Avenue to Dead End, LAKE AVENUE from South Broad Street to Independence Avenue, SUTTON DRIVE from Estates Boulevard to Albermarle Road, JOE DI MAGGIO DRIVE from South Broad Street to Fisher Place, FISHER PLACE from Kim Valley Road to Oak Lane, BETHEL AVENUE from Main Street to Dead End, MAGOWAN AVENUE from Klockner Road to Hamilton Lakes Drive and AXFORD ROAD from Runyon Drive to Baylor Road, and (2) further including the following Engineering Department road projects: ABBOTT ROAD from Paxson Avenue to Flock Road, MORTON AVENUE from West Baylor Drive to Dead End, NATRONA AVENUE from Saybrook Avenue to Erie Avenue and JENCOHALLO AVENUE from Donald Drive to Klockner Road, and (3) including supplemental appropriations for the following projects funded in part by various grants: EAST SIXTH AVENUE from Whitehead Road to Industrial Drive, KUSER ROAD & KLOCKNER ROAD from Kuser Road to Klockner Road, KUSER ROAD from Whitehorse Avenue to Dolci Drive, ESTATES BLVD from Yardville Hamilton Square Road to George Dye Road, KLOCKNER ROAD from Edgebrook Road to Negron Drive and KLOCKNER AVENUE from Nottingham Way to Sloan Avenue and including allocated engineering and public works salaries for labor and costs associated with bidding, monitoring and inspecting contracted work and each job including miscellaneous storm drain repair/inspection, traffic signals, curb cuts, crosswalk and flashers as needed concrete, paving materials, signage, signals, guardrails, inspections and permits, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto.
