BOND ORDINANCE STATEMENTS AND SUMMARY PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Hamilton, in the County of Mercer, New Jersey on July 21, 2026, and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such bond ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies of the full bond ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Municipal Clerk’s office in the Municipal Building to the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such bond ordinance follows: 26-022: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON, IN THE COUNTY OF MERCER, NEW JERSEY, PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED EXPENSES IN AND FOR THE TOWNSHIP, APPROPRIATING $9,900,000 THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $9,405,000 IN GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE THE SAME. PURPOSES. I. Acquisition of Technology and Services, including but not limited to: (i) replacement of in-car computer systems for Police Department, (ii) Upgrade and replace Township’s dispatch console, and (iii) UAV Drone System, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Appropriated and Estimated Cost: $196,240 Estimated Maximum Amount of Bonds or Notes: $186,428 II. Improvements and repairs to Township Parks and recreational assets, including but not limited to: replace façade for special events trailer/stage and replacement of older playground equipment at various Township parks, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Improvements and repairs to Township public buildings and facilities, including but not limited to: upgrades to Township fire houses and installation of security cameras in main court facility, each as set forth in a list on file in the office of the Township Clerk, including all work and related materials necessary thereof or incidental thereto.
