BOND ORDINANCE STATEMENTS AND SUMMARY PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted by the Township Council of the Township of HAMILTON, in the County of Mercer, New Jersey on July 21, 2026, and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such bond ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies of the full bond ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Township Clerk’s office in the Municipal Building to the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such bond ordinance follows: 26-023: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON, IN THE COUNTY OF MERCER, NEW JERSEY, PROVIDING FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO TOWNSHIP’S WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM IN AND FOR THE TOWNSHIP, APPROPRIATING $8,330,000 THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $8,330,000 IN SEWER UTILITY BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE THE SAME. Purpose: 1. Acquisition of equipment and improvements to the Township’s pump stations including but not limited to: rehabilitation of Klockner Pump Station #3, upgrades to existing pump stations including Gateway 195, Papps Village and Leachate, replacement of Bioxide feed systems at various pump stations including Deutzville and Yardville-Groveville, and including all work and related materials necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Appropriated and Estimated Cost: $595,000 Estimated Maximum Amount of Bonds or Notes: $595,000 Period or Average Period of Usefulness: 15 years 2. Acquisition of equipment and improvements to the Township’s sanitary sewer collection system including but not limited to: sewer improvements associated with Township Road Program, repair of underground infrastructure, unanticipated repairs and inspections to collection system pipes and mains, rehabilitation and lining of existing pipes and manholes, and replacement of Yardville-Groveville force main, and including all work and related materials necessary thereof or incidental thereto.
