ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Municipality of Norristown for the following project: 408 W. MAIN STREET – HISTORICAL FAÇADE IMPROVEMENTS Norristown, Pennsylvania 19401 Bids will be received at the Norristown Department of Planning & Municipal Development, 235 East Airy Street, Floor 2, Norristown, PA 19401, until Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM, at which time they will be publicly opened. The work includes window restoration, storm window installation, restoration and repair of wood architectural elements, exterior façade improvements, and related repairs to select building components intended to preserve and enhance the building’s historic character. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “408 W. Main Street Historical Façade Improvements – Bid Submission” and must include the name and address of the bidder. Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are available for review at the Norristown Department of Planning & Municipal Development and may be obtained electronically at no cost or in hard copy for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per set. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site, 408 W. Main Street, Norristown, PA, on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Attendance is required for all prospective bidders. All questions must be submitted via email to Amy Baade at abaade@lga-partners.com with “408 W. Main Street” in the subject line no later than Thursday July 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM. No questions will be accepted by phone. Bidders must be properly licensed and insured and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
