ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP 2026 SUPERPAVE PAVE PROJECT Sealed bids will be received online by Tredyffrin Township via PennBid until May 7, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Valley Meeting Room of the Tredyffrin Township Building, 1100 DuPortail Rd. Berwyn, PA 19312 for: TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP 2026 SUPERPAVE PAVEMENT PROJECT PW2026-02 The project consists of constructing, supplying, and installing for roadway paving: 96,284 SY Milling, 4,816 SY Type 1 Base repair, 580 tons leveling course 8,940 Tons of 9.5 MM Superpave, Unit price for Type 2 Base Repair. Municipal Complex Paving: 5,684 SY Milling, 150 SY Type 1 Base Repair, 142 Tons Leveling, 490 Tons of 9.5 MM Superpave. All pavement markings: including and not limited to, double yellow line, stop bars, crosswalks, turn lanes, school zones and all markings associated with intersections per Penn DOT specifications. All quantities are approximate and for informational purposes. All documents and details are available at PennBid - https://pennbid.procureware.com/home Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Tredyffrin Township, or a Bid Bond in favor of Tredyffrin Township, in the amount of 10 % of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. This project will require a performance bond of 100%. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the date, time and location indicated in Section “A” of the Invitation to Bidders provided on PennBid. No bid may be withdrawn within Five (5) days of the date of the bid opening. Tredyffrin Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
