TOWNSHIP OF LAWRENCE, MERCER COUNTY SALE OF LOTS OR PLOTS OF LAND SITUATED IN THE TOWNSHIP OF LAWRENCE FOR UNPAID MUNICIPAL LIENS Public notice is hereby given that the undersigned, Collector of Taxes of the Township of Lawrence in the County of Mercer and State of New Jersey, will sell at Public Auction at Lawrence Township Municipal Building, located at 2207 Lawrence Road, Lawrence Twp, New Jersey, on Monday November 17th 2025 at 10:00AM in Council Chambers, the following described lands; Said lands will be sold to make the amount of Municipal Liens severally chargeable against the same on the 17th day of Novmber 2025, exclusive however of the lien for taxes for the year 2025 and sewer charges for the years 2025, computed in the following list together with the costs of sale. Said lands will be sold in fee to such persons as will purchase the same, subject to redemption at the lowest rate of interest, but in no case in excess of eighteen per centum per annum. The payment for the sale will be made before the conclusion of the sale or the property will be resold. Cash, money order, wire transfer or certified checks only will be accepted for payment. Any parcel of real property for which there will be no other purchaser will be struck off and sold to the Township of Lawrence, in fee, for redemption at eighteen per centum per annum, and the municipality shall have the same remedies and rights as other purchasers, including the right to bar or foreclose the right of redemption. The same is made and will be conducted under the provisions of the revised statutes of New Jersey of 1937, Sec. 54:4-19 to 54:5-53 inclusive, as amended and supplemented. Certificate purchasers are herewith advised, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 13:1K-6, that industrial property may be subject to the “Environmental Clean-Up Responsibility Act,” the “Spill Compensation and Control Act,” or the “Water Pollution Control Act.” These laws preclude the municipality from issuing a tax sale certificate to any purchaser who is, or may be in any way connected to, the previous owner or operator of such sites.
