Public Involvement Plan and Notice of Public Meeting Sharktown, Inc. is undertaking to remediate the property located at 155-159 Cecil B. Moore Avenue in the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, pursuant to the terms of the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act ("Act 2"). Sharktown, Inc. performed remedial investigation activities at the above referenced property and submitted a Notice of Intent to Remediate on April 24, 2024. The City of Philadelphia requested that Sharktown, Inc. prepare a public involvement plan in accordance with Act 2. The Public Involvement Plan for the property located at 155-159 Cecil B. Moore Avenue will include the following measures to involve the public in a discussion regarding this property: 1. The draft Act 2 Baseline Remedial Investigation Report documenting the remedial investigation activities is available for review through November 26, 2025 at the Free Library of Philadelphia – Fishtown Community Library located at 1217 East Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19125. 2. Richard S. Werner, P.G., of Environmental Consulting, Inc., the environmental consultant to Sharktown, Inc., is designated as the single point of contact for any questions regarding this property. 3. A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Free Library of Philadelphia – Fishtown Community Library, located at 1217 East Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19125 for the purpose of providing information regarding the completed investigations, gathering public comments, and addressing concerns. The meeting is open to the public. 4. Comments obtained as a result of the public involvement plan and responses to those comments will be included in the Act 2 Baseline Remedial Investigation Report that will be submitted to the PADEP.
