PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to the “Noncoal Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act” and the “Clean Streams Law,” notice is hereby given that Heidelberg Materials Northeast LLC, 7535 Windsor Drive, Suite 300, Allentown, PA 18106, has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to transfer existing Surface Noncoal Mining Permit #7775SM12 and associated NPDES Permit No. PA0223573 from Highway Materials, LLC. 409 Stenton Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031. The mine site is located in Alsace Township, Berks County and is known as the Temple Quarry. The permit area is 223.1 acres and is situated at 3128 Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560. The Temple and Fleetwood, Pa., U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic maps contain the area described. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Berks County Conservation District, located at 1238 County Welfare Rd. Leesport, PA 19533.
