ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for construction of the Tennis Courts Reconstruction at Pottsgrove High School will be received by the Pottsgrove School District, at the District Administration Office at 1301 Kauffman Road, Pottstown, PA 19464 until 10:00 A.M Monday, June 2, 2025 at which place all bids received will be publicly opened and read immediately afterward at the address stated above: Bids for the above project are invited in the following contract categories: Contract No. 1 – Site Construction The Engineer is Kurowski and Wilson, LLC, 2201 North Front Street, Suite 200, Harrisburg, PA 17110, Telephone (717) 635-2835. During the bidding period, questions regarding the project shall be e-mailed to the attention of Carolyn DuBois at cdubois@kandwengineers.com . Complete bidding documents will be available from the Engineer on May 12, 2025 at no cost. Documents in hard copy or PDF electronic format will be available from the Engineer. Please email Kaitlin Kelley at kkelley@kandwengineers.com, phone (717-635-2835 ext. 1000) to request the bidding document. Allow 2 full business days to process document orders. The Engineer assumes no responsibility for information derived from incomplete sets of documents or for issuing addenda to entities who obtain documents from sources other than the Engineer. Documents will be not available for examination at the Engineer’s office. A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held for prospective bidders on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Pottsgrove School District Administration Office, located at 1301 Kauffman Road, Pottstown, PA 19464. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, a cashier’s check or a bid bond of an approved Surety Company in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of Shippensburg Area School District. Notice is given that this construction work for which bids are being solicited constitutes a public works project subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented. Appropriate prevailing minimum rates, as promulgated under provisions of said Act, must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Notice is also given that this project is subject to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744, as amended and supplemented.
